What does it cost?
Nothing to join or use. Your own clients are 0% commission, always. Card payments cost 1.9% + 20p (Pay by bank just 0.5% + 20p), or take cash or bank transfer for free. When we find you a new customer, we take 15% of their first booking only (£5 minimum, £30 maximum), and nothing on their bookings after that. For your first 3 months it's 0% on new customers too. Max is optional at £24.99 a month.
When do I get paid?
We release the money 24 hours after the job, once your before and after photos are in, unless the customer reports a problem. It's then paid to your bank automatically.
What if a customer says something's wrong?
The money stays held while we look at the photos and messages. Most problems are fixed with a quick re-do. If not, we decide fairly between you.
Do I need to verify my ID?
Yes, before your first payout. Our payment partner Stripe checks your photo ID and bank details. It's a legal requirement for anyone receiving card payments in the UK, and takes about 5 minutes.
Do I need insurance?
For car care and handyman jobs, yes: public liability insurance. We'll ask for it when you sign up.
Can I bring my existing clients?
Yes, please do. Share your link and they book you there. They stay your clients, at 0% commission, forever.
Is there a contract?
No. Free has no commitment, and you can cancel Max any time.
